Catarina Vilaça holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts, specializing in the field of Sculpture, and a post-graduation in UX/UI Design, both from the University of Porto. In the past year, she has participated in residencies and exhibitions. She was nominated for the “Artist Acquisition Award” (2020) by the Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade do Porto (Portugal), received a grant to produce an installation in Viana do Castelo (2020), and exhibited in numerous national exhibitions. Additionally, she worked on an animation short film called “Homem do Lixo,” directed by Laura Gonçalves and produced by Bando à Parte. Her artwork is centered on developing performative pieces, such as creating performances, happenings, and installations that engage with the audience. With a background in sculpture and a postgraduate degree in Interaction Design for Web and Games, she brings a unique blend of artistic creativity and UX/UI design expertise. Currently, she’s focused on her design projects, where she creates visually stunning and userfriendly digital experiences. Passionate about making a meaningful impact, she strives to push boundaries in the ever-evolving fields of design and art
