Conceived within the scope of the Laboratório de Coisas Inúteis, produced by Inestética, with the support of the Portuguese Republic - Culture, DGArtes and Vila Franca de Xira City Council.

THE SQUARE

Video-Performance.

The piece “Square” illustrates the thoughts and frustrations of a square character during its days of existence.

We deal with its inner voices speaking about themes like self doubt, hatred towards other solids, mental health, personality, etc relating shapes with character traits.

Site-Specific.

Recreation Piece recreates a piece of nature, brings it to the gallery and puts it in the position of a piece of art.
The spectator can break these pieces if they chose to, the artist approves it and signs a document giving consent.
